Memorial day

We honor all those who have and are still serving. We also honor their families.

The news can bombard us with a lot of what is wrong with this country. But, that's what they get paid to do! We have to remind ourselves and encourage each other of the beauty of this country and what God has done! What God has done certainly outweighs all of that negative news. I am reminded of two scriptures:

Psalm 1 says Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners nor sits in the seat of the scornful. But, his delight is in the law of the Lord and in His law (God's word) does he meditate day and not.

Philippians 4 says whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report; if there be any virtue, and any praise, think on these things.

Have a great weekend! May the blessings of God overtake you as you walk by His Word!
