This blessing, inspired by the Holy Spirit, has been spoken every morning by Pastor Metzler over her husband.

The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:

The LORD make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:

The LORD lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

 

Psalm 1:1-3

Blessed is the man (insert name) that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in His law doth he meditate day and night.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in His ways.

Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.

Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine and the flocks of thy sheep.  (Your job or business)

Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store. (Your refrigerator, cabinets and pantry)

Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face:  they shall come out against thee one way and flee before thee seven ways.

 

Thou shalt lend unto many and not borrow.

I bless you to be a mighty man of valor, a man of integrity, a promise keeper, a pillar of strength, a pillar of righteousness, a pillar of peace, and a pillar of wisdom for (List the names of the males in her family) and all the young boys, young men and all the men in the Church.

 

Lord, we bless this day which you have given us.  We choose to have the mind of Christ, to put on the Lord Jesus Christ; we bless our brain, our brain stem, right and left hemisphere; proteins and neurons, and magnesium.  We bless our thyroid gland; we bless our upper respiratory, lungs and bronchial tubes, sinus and air way passages.  We bless the vision of our eyes, the hearing of our ears, and the words of our mouth.  We bless the strength of our arms and the labor of our hands -- holiness unto the Lord, for the glory of thy Kingdom.  We bless the strength of our steps today -- the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, holiness unto the Lord for the Glory of thy Kingdom.  We bless our heart, our liver, our pancreas, our spline, our bones and bone marrow, our red blood cells, our white blood cells, our skin, hair and teeth and finger nails.  We bless our kidneys, our bladder, and our bowels, that our arteries are clean of plaque and free of fat.  We bless (your husband's name) prostate gland to be healthy (ladies, bless your female organs).  We bless our living today in the name of Jesus, holiness unto the Lord for the glory of thy Kingdom, in Jesus Name. 

 

Lord we choose to put on the whole armor of God.  We choose the helmet of salvation to cover our brain and our thinking, we choose the breastplate of righteousness, to cover our heart -- out of the heart are the issues of life.  We choose the shield of faith, to ward off the fiery darts of the enemy, we choose the sword of the spirit, the battle's not ours - it is Yours, Lord.  We choose the girdle of truth, to gird about our loins -- you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free; therefore we choose to gird up the loins of our mind -- to be strengthened and supported by truth.  We choose the beautiful brassy boots of peace; we put them on and we stand -- having done all, we stand.  In Jesus Name.
